58th National Film Awards announced

The 58th national film awards for the year 2010 were announced at a press conference in New Delhi today. While Telugu film ‘Advaitam’ won the Best Educational Film Award, it is ‘Dabangg’ got the Wholesome Entertainment. Venky & Pawan combo multi starrer film..

Looks like, this is the season of mega multi-starrers in Tollywood. Just a couple of days back, we have heard that Ram Charan and Allu Arjun’s multi-starrer is hitting the sets from August and here comes another interesting update at the moment.

It is known that Pawan Kalyan has earlier expressed his desire to work with Venkatesh in a multi-starrer.  The latest update is Dil Raju has come forward to produce the project and Srikanth Addalaof Kotha Bangaru Lokam fame will direct the film. Interesting fact is Trivikram Srinivas penning the script work for the mega venture and the film has been titled as Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

If everything goes well, we get to see the two biggies of Tollywood Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh sharing the screens. Well, let’s wait for the official announcement of the prestigious project.

Pawan's total change over with 'Shadow'

Till now pawan kalyan is a ‘Hero’ with envious following in audience. Despite his success rate and quantity of films delivered, here is the news which might shock many of Power Star Fans. Yes, pawan kalyan is all set to portray a role with ‘Negative Shades’ in upcoming film ‘Shadow.’ Till then it is alone Shahrukh Khan in Bollywood who successfully balanced his villainy acts even though regarded as Number One Hero in the industry. So, here is complete change over of image for Pawan. In the direction of stylish Vishnuvardhan, this is the first time Power Star will portray a kind of characterization which isn’t attempted by any one in entire world. Inner sources say that ‘Shadow’ is a journey of five people with underworld backdrop. Shooting of the film will start from tomorrow in Kolkata while Arka Media will produce the film under Sangamithra Productions. The technical crew includes, cinematography by PS Vinod, editing by Sreekar Prasad and music from Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Pawan Kalyan's shadow's first look

It is well-aware that Pawan Kalyan has signed up a new film with Kollywood director

Vishnuvaradhan and the film will be jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and 

under Arka Media and Sanghamithra Productions jointly.

Till date, the film has been referred as Shadow by the media but the producers 

held the first press meet on Monday, to make it clear that Shadow is the working 

title and the film’s title would be something else.

It is earlier informed that Sarah Jane dias is finalized for the lead role now, the

 film-makers has finalized that Anjali laviana will play the second lead in the film. 

The first schedule of the film is planned in Kolkata, which will commence from 6th 

May and 50% of the film will be wrapped up in the first schedule. Pawan Kalyan

 will sport a new look in the film informed director Vishnuvardhan.

Other prominent roles will be essayed by Jackie Shroff, Atul Kulkarni, Tanikella

 Bharani, Ali, Brahmanandam and Subbaraju.

It is known that Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is good heart person. As per the close sources 

 Pawan Kalyan is planning to adopt two orphan kids and raise them. He has been fond

 of his kids.

Recently, Pawan Kalyan planned to adopt two orphans and also he had this thought 

since long time to do some ‘real’ service to society.

Anyway, it requires a BIG heart and he will set an example to many celebrities who talk a

bout charity and service with lots of makeup on their faces but nothing 'real' inside their 

hearts.

Allu Arjun’s Badrinath audio on 8th May

The audio launch of the most awaited film of the year Badrinath will be held on 8th May. Allu Arjun and Tamannah are playing the lead roles in this V.V.Vinayak’s directorial. Badrinath is being produced on a grand scale by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts banner. M.M.Keeravani composed the music for the film.

Most part of the film has been wrapped up except a couple of songs and patch work. The post-production works are simultaneously under progress and the makers are planning to release the film either in the last week of May or in the first week of June.

Chiru 150th film to start after By-polls

Here is the good news for all the Mega Star’s fans. chiranjeevi’s re-entry to Tollywood seems to be almost finalized and Chiru is getting ready to kick-start his 150th film. V.V. Vinayak, who has earlier given him the blockbuster hit Tagore will wield the megaphone for this prestigious project. The actor turned politician is currently busy with the Kadapa election works and once the elections get completed, Chiru will join the sets of the film. While the cast and crew of this film are yet to be finalized, this excited project will be produced by Ram Charan Teja under the banner Leo Projects Pvt Ltd. So, let’s wait for the official announcement of chiranjeevi’s 150th film.

Pawan Kalyan's Jesus Christ movie shelved

It is known news that Pawan Kalyan was due with a film which was based on the life of Jesus Christ. Sometime back, few pictures of Pawan along with the team in Jerusalem were also released.However, after that there is no news whatsoever about the film or its proceedings.

As it is, Pawan is busy with his other projects such as ‘Shadow’ ‘Gabbar Singh’...etc etc etc...On the other hand, the film’s writer J K Bharavi became busy with his debut directorial venture ‘Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya’. Above all, there is no news from the makers Konda Krishnamraju and Singeetham Srinivasa Rao.

In view of all this, the public are thinking if the movie on Jesus Christ has been shelved. It was meant to be a one of its kind project with many children in it. But with each passing day, the doubts are growing stronger if the project is on or not. Anyways, the coming days will give us the clear picture.

The close friendship and special bond shared by pawan kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas is many times discussed in media. It has been too late as prabhas is eating so much of time in completing his movies. He took nearly one year time in between ‘Darling’ and ‘Mr. Perfect.’ With astounding following in mass public and family ladies, he can be still faster. Other worrisome aspect is that prabhas isn’t faring up to the expectations with his new image change over from deadly action hero to family hero. If ‘Darling’ was good work from Karunakaran that helped in having a success, ‘Mr. Perfect’ is declared as an imperfect show from prabhas. Reason being quite simple that Rebel Star went too much into this over decent and over class characterization that his own bunch of front bench followers are finding it difficult to digest. What they expect fromprabhas is to show his macho body and hit the goons around very often as per the demand of story. But, ‘Mr. Perfect’ failed to provide them such massive action. So, all the expectations are obviously pinned upon the upcoming combo ofprabhas - Rajamouli that is to be made on a very high budget with socio fantasy subject.

If words of Ramu are to be believed, he replaced Abhishek Bachchan with rana in the new film ‘Department.’ Quoting the reasons of date problems with Chota Bachchan, the substitution was done so cool and rana would be happy with this tit for tat. You pull my ‘Dum Maaro Dum,’ I will pull your ‘Department.’

I Can't Tell People To Watch The 'Shakti' Movie: Ileana

Sexy Siren Ileana has charged a bomb for her recently released mega budget flick Shakti. The film turned out to be a major flop at the Box-Office and Ileana states that she couldn’t connect to the story of the film at the end, as the final copy of Shakti is entirely different from what Meher Ramesh has narrated her initially.”

“When I signed on the dotted line, the story was very different. Later during the filming everything changed. What I was narrated was different from what shaped up. Of course the director did inform me about the changes, but I couldn’t be able to say anything,” says Ileana.

She further adds that this was the reason she was not seen in the promotional events of Shakti. “I wasn’t positive about Shakti, so I didn’t speak much about it in any event. I’m not a hypocrite to smile and tell people to watch the movie, when I myself not convinced.”

Distributors 'Attacked' On Shakti Movie Producer 'Aswini Dutt

Jr.NTR’s “Shakti” was blow at box-office. As the producer of this film Aswini Dutt has disposed the areas on recoverable advance basis to the various distributors in Andhra Pradesh as district wise.

Today one distributor of West Godavari attacked the production house of Aswini Dutt along with the exhibitors of the area for the immediate recovery of their money paid.

Usually Distributor will pay the amounts what they have fixed to the Producers before the release of the picture. Distributor will collect some advances from the Exhibitors (Theatre owners). When the picture got flop, exhibitors demands for the recovery of their money, then distributor demands Producers for the recovery. It is a chain reaction in the film industry.

So this is a start of one Distributor and will continue by all other distributors soon. Looks like Aswini Dutt is in high time pressure.
